The Tapped Flange Adapter is a nipple with a minimum length for mating two
tapped flanges. Studs must be screwed into each tapped flange prior to
installing the adapter. The Tapped Flange Adapter has clearance holes on each
flange which slip over the studs. Nuts are then screwed onto the studs to
complete the installation. Studs, nuts and washers are provided with the
adapter.
